Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Google Cloud Data Engineer, your role involves:

• Designing, developing, and managing large-scale data solutions using GCP services like DataProc, Dataflow, Cloud Bigtable, and more.
• Creating robust data pipelines to support enterprise analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Collaborating with clients to modernize their IT infrastructure for enhanced cloud integration.
• Ensuring data security and compliance throughout the data management process.
• Actively contributing to a team of problem solvers, tackling complex business challenges from strategy through execution.

Preferred Skills and Experience

We're looking for professionals who have:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with demonstrable expertise in data analytics and reporting.
• Proficient in GCP services, big data technologies like Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, and analytical tools including Looker.
• Strong capability in building data pipelines in both streaming and batch modes, and across various SQL and NoSQL data architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for persuasive and clear articulation.
