What Will You Do?

As a Graduate Data Engineer at Aiimi, you'll take charge of developing, maintaining, and enhancing data pipelines, crucial for ensuring the seamless flow of information across the organization. This role will see you:

• Building and executing robust data pipelines for integrating diverse data sources.
• Working hand-in-hand with data scientists and business stakeholders to define data needs.
• Designing effective data models to support business objectives and enable meaningful analytics and reporting.
• Continuously improving and maintaining the architecture of our data systems.
• Ensuring the high performance and scalability of databases and data warehouses.
• Maintaining data security and compliance according to governance standards.
• Utilizing programming and scripting languages to develop data processes.
• Employing big data technologies like Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark to manage vast data volumes.
• Creating testing processes to verify the accuracy of data solutions.
• Maintaining documentation on data processes and pipelines for organizational knowledge.
• Collaborating with various teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
• Staying current with new technologies and practices in data management and engineering.

What Do You Need?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven programming expertise in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
