Job Description

Publicis Sapient is in search of a Hadoop Data Architect to be a part of our team of brilliant thinkers and doers. You will collaborate with exceptional technologists to facilitate real business outcomes for our enterprise clients by transforming their requirements into solutions that offer valuable insights. Armed with the latest data technologies in the field, you will play a crucial role in aiding the world's most established brands to evolve for a more digital future. 

Your Impact:

• Hold a pivotal role in delivering data-centric interactive experiences to our clients 
• Collaborate closely with our clients to comprehend their requirements and translate them to technology solutions
• Leverage your expertise as a technical resource to solve complex business challenges that manifest into data integration and database system designs 
• Solve problems to overcome obstacles and eliminate issues throughout the lifecycle of client engagements 
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards by setting development norms, adhering to these standards and participating in code reviews 
• Engage in integrated inspection sessions of components and subsystems on production servers

Qualifications

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Provable experience in enterprise-level data platforms entailing the establishment of end-to-end data pipelines
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to function as a team 
• First-hand experience with at least one of the leading public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Prior experience on Cloudera Hadoop (minimum of 5 years on Cloudera)
• Data engineering experience with a Java background
• Substantial experience in open source tech stacks (Apache Spark, HDFS, Trino, Iceberg)
• Prior experience dealing with various file formats like Avro, Parquet
• Schema management and table formats like Iceberg
• Query engines – Dremio, Pinot

Additional Information

Pay Range: $90,000 -$150,000

The range displayed corresponds to the clusters of relevant ranges currently being used at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may vary, based on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
