Acolad is on the hunt for a seasoned and spirited Head of AI to lead our AI team towards the revolution of the Localization industry and the Linguistic Service Provider (LSP) market. The Head of AI will have a significant part in steering innovation, creating state-of-the-art AI solutions, and leveraging the potency of natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance our services and offerings. The Head of AI will be a crucial leader within Acolad, accountable for shaping the company's AI vision and encouraging the acceptance of AI technologies to produce innovative solutions for the Localization industry and LSP market. This role calls for a profound understanding of AI, NLP, and data science, along with strong leadership and strategic abilities. Responsibilities: - Team Leadership: Lead and oversee a team of NLP/AI Experts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other AI professionals. Encourage a cooperative and innovative team culture. - AI Strategy: In cooperation with the Chief AI and Technology Director, form and implement a comprehensive AI strategy in harmony with Acolad's business targets. Recognize opportunities for AI integration and define transparent roadmaps for AI projects. - Use Case Identification: Work together with cross-functional teams to pinpoint new use cases for AI within the Localization industry and LSP market. Examine market trends and customer needs to stimulate innovation. - AI Solutions Development: Supervise the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including NLP models, machine learning algorithms, and automation tools. - Data Management: Guarantee the acquisition, quality, and availability of data required for AI projects. Establish data governance processes and best practices. - Technology Evaluation: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and NLP technologies. Assess potential tools and frameworks for AI development. - Project Management: Manage the AI project portfolio, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project timelines. Ensure successful project execution and delivery. - Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to integrate AI solutions into Acolad's services and promote business growth. - Performance Measurement: Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of AI initiatives. Implement continuous improvement strategies. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. - Proven experience (8+ years) in leading AI/NLP teams and managing AI projects from inception to implementation. - In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI development frameworks and libraries. - Expertise in data engineering and data management, including data acquisition, preprocessing, and storage. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute AI strategies that align with business objectives. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. - A track record of driving innovation and delivering AI solutions that provide business value. - Knowledge of the Localization industry and LSP market is a plus.
