Role Summary

The Chief Data Office (CDO) at State Street's Global Technology Solutions (GTS) is tasked with the delivery and governance of Data Architecture and Technology programs across the firm. We are currently spearheading multiple initiatives to provide valuable data solutions for our internal and external clients. We seek an experienced, dynamic data technology leader to advance our CDO organization's growth.

Role Description

As the Head of Data Governance Platform Delivery, you will:

• Lead the delivery of data governance technology solutions and adoption programs, including Collibra Data Intelligence Catalog, Data Quality, Data Privacy, and Data Entitlement implementations.
• Drive policy adoption metrics across the company by providing leadership on adoption and coverage services.
• Partner strategically with business units to enhance Data Governance maturity and design solutions that elevate data management and governance.
• Collaborate with IT functions such as Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Network Infrastructure for cohesive solution delivery.
• Create and manage delivery roadmaps, mitigate risks, track progress, and eliminate obstacles to achieve OKRs and milestones.
• Offer thought leadership and communicate updates effectively to CDO leadership globally.
• Focus on talent management, mentoring, and guiding team members, including third-party resources and consultants, to foster a growth-oriented and engaged team.

Core/Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in delivering Data Governance solutions such as Collibra, Information Governance Catalog, Data Quality tools, and Data Privacy tools.
• Experience with cloud-based data engineering solutions (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake), Tableau/PowerBI while following agile methodologies in global environments.
• Strong understanding of dependencies and IT support requirements.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills with proven Stakeholder Management and executive presence.
• Basic understanding of Finance and Investment Management industry, including Regulatory and Compliance requirements for data management.
