Job Description

The Investment Management Data Operations Team of Legal and General is seeking to employ a Head of Data Operations (Change) under the Global Head of Data Operations. Data is a fundamental element for LGIM since it props up our business operations efficiently. In the recent years, the company has poured tremendous effort and resources to enhance its data and its resulting outcomes.

This role will task you with engaging essential stakeholders across the company as well as our Data and Tech teams to champion the design and expansion of new Data Operations services required by the company. This role's crucial responsibility is ensuring that designs meet established Data Operations processing and control standards, emphasize on testing and risk during design and development, and promoting robust communication and collaboration across Change, PM, and the Data teams.

Your responsibilities will include

• Assuming responsibility for integrating Operational control standards into new Data Operational designs where automation is paramount. 
• Intensively collaborating with LGIM stakeholders across Change Management, Data Solutions, Technology, and Operations
• Driving regular and impactful communication surrounding all changes within Data Operations, fostering the recognition of and for the value of Data Operations products

Qualifications

• Rigorous project management skills, highlighting interdepartmental communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills; proven team player who can foster trust and confidence within and outside the company
• Effective leadership, people management, and team building skills
• Goal-oriented work ethic coupled with a positive attitude
• Having a degree is an asset but not a necessity
• Prior experience in Asset Management is preferable but not essential
• Guide the team in strategic, operational and project management skills
• Brainstorm Data Services that align to our agreed data strategy. 
• Contribute to the long-term Data Operations vision.
• Cooperate with the remainder of the Data team and with business stakeholders, providing support and suggestions in the creation of those data services
