About the Sky Mavis Growth Team

The Sky Mavis Growth team consists of agile Web3 enthusiasts who manage public-facing communications for Sky Mavis, Axie Infinity, and Ronin. We support promotional efforts for first-party products such as the Ronin Wallet and third-party partners like Ragnarok: Monster World and Coinbase. Our team operates in APAC and North America, providing nearly 24/7 coverage of social channels, including the Ronin blog, the Axie Infinity Substack, X (formerly Twitter), Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

About the Role

As a Copywriter at Sky Mavis, you will draft various public-facing communications for multiple channels. This includes regular CTA-driven blog posts, long-form technical articles up to 2,000 words, and short-form social copy with visual assets. You will collaborate with the Senior Copywriter, other Growth team members, and Graphic Designers to produce these deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Copywriter to ensure cohesive brand tone across all content pieces.
• Translate briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts.
• Create captivating content for Web3 games and dApps joining the Ronin ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product and blockchain research teams to develop thought leadership pieces.
• Craft messages that resonate with our target audience across various community funnels.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Games Publishing, Ecosystem, Product, Design, and Blockchain research.
• Conceptualize, write, and edit compelling copy for campaign assets such as marketing collateral, infographics, web copy, social media, and email.
• Participate actively in strategic brainstorming to enhance our narratives.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in PR, creative writing, communications, media production, or related fields.
• Strong Web3 technical writing experience, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with gaming, NFT, and Web3 culture or a strong willingness to learn about them.
• PR writing experience is a significant plus.
• An adaptable writing style; comfortable using AI tools but never copy-pasting.
• Based in Asia timezone; preferably having a work permit in Vietnam or Singapore.

Skills

• Ability to condense large amounts of information into consumable content regularly.
• Effective collaboration with Graphic, Art, and Design teams through Slack and in-person.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience working with both internal and external stakeholders globally.
• Strong organizational skills and energy management in a fast-paced industry.
• Adaptive writing style in accordance with market conditions and stakeholder needs.
• Data analysis skills (Python, R, SQL, etc.) are a plus.
