We are expanding our team with the addition of a talented DevOps Engineer. This role is integral to developing new features, debugging, resolving issues, and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage multiple production and non-production environments in AWS.
• Implement microservices architecture through Kubernetes-based service mesh.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations using Terraform.
• Enhance security and harden both frontend and backend application images.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python-based Lambda functions.
• Monitor and manage resources using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture teams to follow SOC2 and PCI best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Proficient with Source Control Systems like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipeline, and Jenkins.
• Basic programming skills in Python, C#, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as GitHub Issues and Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mathematics. Related experience considered.
• Experience in a PCI and/or SOC2 compliant environment is a plus.
• Background in the Fintech industry is advantageous.

Hiring Salary Range: $95k – $115k CAD annually, based on experience.
