About The Role - Program Manager (Remote US)

Brief Description

• Lead Program Management for Extreme’s next-generation Cloud SaaS platform, working with Agile product development teams.
• Required experience in cloud and platform SW development; preferred expertise in cross-platform operating systems and networking.
• 4+ years of product development experience in an engineering environment.
• Portfolio management experience is a plus.
• Key traits include leadership, enthusiasm, and self-direction.

Our next-generation development team focuses on cloud infrastructure, incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. As a part of the Program Management team, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive portfolio definition, alignment, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide Program Management leadership for cross-functional development teams, covering scope, schedule, and budget.
• Identify and resolve program blockers.
• Execute best-in-class PM practices with a focus on risk management.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to meet project objectives.
• Ensure clear communication across multiple organizational levels.
• Provide regular updates to management on project status.
• Drive day-to-day program activities.
• Seek clarity amidst ambiguity and strive for process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of product development experience in an engineering environment.
• Experience in cloud and platform SW development; knowledge of cross-platform operating systems and networking is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with multifaceted teams, including hardware, platform, and cloud experts.
• Proven ability to manage global team communications and time alignment.
• Strong leadership, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire team members.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
