We are seeking an experienced romance novel author with excellent writing and editing skills to join our expanding team as a Senior Editor. Your role will involve more than editing – you will bring a fresh perspective to love stories, turning good narratives into unforgettable experiences. This full-time, fully remote position offers creative freedom and flexibility. Become the alchemist in our diverse team of creatives.

What Sets You Apart

• You have a passion for romance novels, reading at least 4-5 books a month.
• You have written or ghostwritten and published 3 romance novels, and can provide links for review.
• At least 3 years of professional writing or editing experience.
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of reader preferences in romance literature.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively when needed.
• Strong editing skills with the capability to provide honest feedback.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do

• Select the most compelling plots that are sure to be addictive page-turners.
• Edit and polish books, noting inconsistencies in tone, pacing, and overall quality improvements.
• Ensure narrative voices and pacing remain consistent and genre-specific.
• Stay updated with romance novel trends and integrate them into storylines appropriately.
• Manage your workload independently, keeping track of multiple projects.
• Open to working across all popular romance sub-genres and tropes.
