Role Overview: Senior FP&A Analyst

Hypergiant is looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Senior FP&A Analyst. In this role, you will assist with financial planning, budgeting, and in-depth financial analysis. You will also provide essential guidance to project teams and lead monthly closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform annual, quarterly, and monthly cash flow and balance sheet budgets/forecasts.
  • Investigate and explain deviations between actual and budgeted financial results.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making using statistical techniques and financial modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and regulations.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and special projects.
  • Provide financial guidance to project teams and departments.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, and advise on financial feasibility.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Present financial insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to assess their impact on the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
  • Ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems like NetSuite, Open Air, or Rippling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience in government financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficiency in rate analysis and proposals.

$100,900 — $126,300 USD

The specified salary range outlines target new hire salaries across all US locations. Compensation varies based on expertise, skills, experience, education, and training. The provided range excludes bonuses, equity, or benefits. An extra allowance may be awarded for roles requiring active US Security Clearance.
