Complexio is currently hiring a remote Senior Software Engineer for our Europe location.

Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play an essential role in our team, developing cutting-edge AI applications to improve user experiences and streamline communication processes. Collaborate with a highly skilled team comprised of Data Scientists, DevOps, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to design and implement specialized AI assistant technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key features and applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Benchmark, analyze, and optimize web applications for scalability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews and the development of coding standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Sc or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in both compiled languages (Rust, Ocaml, Go, Java, C#) and dynamic languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
• Experience with web or desktop application technologies such as Electron, Tauri, React, Vue.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools like GitHub Actions.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis, Neo4j, Milvior MongoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Pinecone, Milvior).
• Experience with native desktop app development.
• Proficiency with NLP libraries and frameworks (spaCy, Transformers).
• Understanding machine learning concepts and working with NLP datasets.
