Checkmate is actively seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a robust technical background and a proven track record in project management, particularly with ROR, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of multiple technical projects simultaneously, adhering to project lifecycle methodologies.
• Track, manage, and report project progress to stakeholders, including deliverables, timeframes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to create comprehensive project plans and monitor progress.
• Engage with engineering, product development, and other teams to facilitate the delivery of new or existing products.
• Utilize Agile methodologies for efficient and adaptive project management.
• Employ project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Asana for planning, tracking, and communication.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience implementing them in project management.
• Any Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
• Experience in mentoring or managing junior project managers is desirable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a project manager, focusing on technical projects on ROR.
• Understanding of project lifecycle methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple technical projects.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility to work during US hours is essential.
• Candidates must have their own system/work setup for remote work.
