About the Role

Capgemini is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented UX/Product Design Lead to join our team, collaborating with a top 10 US Insurance Carrier. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in understanding user and business needs, leading strategic research, and crafting effective design deliverables for complex projects.

As a UX/Product Design Lead, you will:

  • Develop ideas, designs, and prototypes in Figma that address user needs within technical constraints
  • Improve usability standards and model best practices
  • Lead project teams to ensure project success
  • Influence hiring and mentor junior team members
  • Encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Participate in thought leadership and discussions on team vision and roadmap
  • Independently lead workshops and other collaborative activities

Requirements

  • Experience: 7-9 years in digital product design
  • Portfolio: Online portfolio showcasing recent work with strong design clarity
  • English Proficiency: Fluent
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Preferred Studies: Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science

Additional Skills Required

  • Advanced knowledge in Product Design and User Research
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Product Management skills
