This full-time position is based in Rockville, MD, with telework opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Statistical Programmer, you will:

• Perform extensive data quality checks, identify issues and implement solutions to enhance data reliability.
• Prepare data for dissemination and statistical analysis, including processing, recording, and restructuring.
• Develop data delivery packages for clients, complete with datasets, format libraries, and codebooks.
• Produce technical documentation, technical reports, and analysis presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior statisticians on advanced statistical methods like machine learning models and survey sampling techniques.
• Handle data importing, cleaning, transformation, and develop complex conditional logic.
• Create and maintain SAS macros, and use PROC SQL for data management tasks.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates should have:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Survey Methodology, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in statistical analysis, data management, or a related field, depending on academic qualifications.
• Proficiency in SAS, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of survey research and statistical programming.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $85,218 to $106,860 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including a referral bonus program. We offer competitive salaries based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
