Job Description

We are seeking Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Industrial Controls Robotics Engineers to join our team in Everett, WA. This role involves architecting, defining, planning, implementing, and supporting robotic and automation equipment for airplane manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, define, plan, implement and support robotic and automation equipment for airplane building.
  • Integrate, program, and troubleshoot industrial robots from OEMs such as ABB, FANUC, and KUKA.
  • Work with PLCs, Numerical Controls (NC), HMIs, and Drives from manufacturers like Siemens, FANUC, and Allen Bradley.
  • Optimize robotics and automation equipment for safety, quality, ergonomics, flow, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Generate system specifications based on production system requirements.
  • Comply with industry standards and manage hardware and software configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, safety, services, research and technology, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Communicate, collaborate, coach, and mentor team members effectively.

Work Schedule

This is a 2nd shift role with a unique 4x9 schedule, working 4 days at 9 hours each (1:30 pm – 11 pm PST) while getting paid for 40 hours. Enjoy 3 days off each week! Note: This posting is specifically for the 2nd shift.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in automation/robotics.
  • Availability to work the specified 2nd shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Onsite work capability in the factory.
  • 5+ years of related work experience for Mid-Level positions or 9+ years for Senior Level positions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Controls, Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Metrology, Troubleshooting, and Problem Solving.

Typical Education and Experience

Associate Level: 2+ years of related work experience typically acquired through a bachelor's degree in relevant fields or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Mid-Level: 5+ years of related work experience typically acquired through a bachelor's degree, master’s degree plus 3 years of experience, or a PhD.
Senior Level: 9+ years of related work experience typically acquired through a bachelor's degree, master’s degree plus 7 years of experience, or a PhD plus 4 years of experience.

  • Associate Level: $81,600 - $110,400
  • Mid-Level: $96,050 - $129,950
  • Senior Level: $118,150 - $159,850
