Responsibilities

Conduct Analysis/Development (80%)

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will:

  • Assist in data modeling, data analysis, digital analysis, and reporting of key metrics.
  • Analyze and develop innovative new or existing processes.
  • Utilize various reporting tools to manage data and support diverse projects.
  • Research new technologies that encourage a data-driven culture.

Project Management (20%)

Your tasks will include:

  • Working hands-on with the Microsoft Power Platform – Power BI, Power Automate, Dataflows, and more.
  • Creating Power BI Interactive Insights to present to other business teams.
  • Building PowerPoint presentations to convey analysis insights to leadership.
  • Developing Power BI Datasets for reporting and insights.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions for new solutions.
  • Contributing to the development of process mapping, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

  • Be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or Master’s degree candidate in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Management, Information Systems, or related program of study.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in SQL, Excel, SSRS, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Be able to work independently and manage constant priority changes.
  • Have a professional demeanor and a positive outlook on challenges.
  • Be an analytical/strategic thinker with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Have strong computer skills, proficient in the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in SQL Server, Digital Analytics, Machine Learning, Power BI, and knowledge of data management/warehousing is preferred.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally.
