Job Description

Parsons is hiring an extraordinarily talented Insider Threat Behavioral Scientist to join our elite team! In this role, you'll configure, deliver, and maintain counter insider threat applications. Here’s what you need to know to join us:

Required Skills

• Graduate degree in Mathematical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Research Psychology, or related field focusing on complex quantitative methods to measure human behavior.
• Minimum of 12 years of data mining and modeling experience.
• Proficiency in software platforms like Python, IBM SPSS Modeler, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Generative AI Applications, and/or User Activity Monitoring applications.
• Ability to advise stakeholders on advanced data mining, technical matters, research, and applications.

Responsibilities

As an Insider Threat Behavioral Scientist, you will:

• Innovate and advance the science of counter insider threats and national security psychology by improving existing methods and developing new methods to deter, detect and mitigate potential threats.
• Perform complex data mining tasks to identify anomalous events using proven data mining principles.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning techniques.
• Create data analytics and visualizations to support insider threat detection.
• Develop and maintain insider threat risk scoring and other data analytics tools.

• Project briefings

Integrate data science and psychological principles to provide expert national security psychology consultation, offer case support, design data analytic solutions, educate stakeholders, and communicate innovations to aid in threat detection and mitigation.

Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, which delivers crucial resources to US government customers, ensuring mission success worldwide. Our team’s excellence drives state-of-the-art services in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $161,400.00
