The Role

As an Insight Analyst at Xiatech, you will be instrumental in driving data-led decisions and insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust analytics pipelines using SQL, and create insightful dashboards in Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate insights from complex datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Identify growth opportunities, streamline processes, and optimize business functions through technology and data.
• Lead team deliverables and high-profile projects, presenting findings in executive briefings or senior-level meetings.
• Optimize and enhance existing analytics infrastructures for improved efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with advancements in analytics technologies and methodologies to continually enhance our analytical capabilities.

Your Knowledge & Experience

Must Have:

• Experience with large data volumes in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data processing and manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, interacting effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Experience with Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Desirable:

• Prior experience in the retail industry with a solid understanding of retail analytics.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, utilizing data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, and Keras/PyTorch.
• Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Previous consultancy experience, working directly with clients to deliver analytics solutions and insights.
