Position Overview: Institutional Research Analyst

The Institutional Research Analyst plays a pivotal role under the guidance of the Associate Provost, Educational Effectiveness at Alliant International University. This position involves detailed analysis supporting university-wide and academic decision-making. Key responsibilities include data extraction, analysis, visualization, and reporting, aimed at bolstering strategic initiatives and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Starting Salary: $80,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and location.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience in institutional research, data analysis, or survey research.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced experience with enterprise resource systems and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Background in higher education and familiarity with statistical analysis software.

Work Environment and Conditions:

Located at the hybrid San Diego Campus, this role includes standard office hours with occasional travel. The dynamic work setting frequently necessitates interaction with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring a collaborative and supportive workspace.
