Equifax's Business Intelligence team is actively seeking an Intermediate Business Intelligence Developer with a dual passion for analysis and financial systems management. This role is perfect for individuals who have a strong interest in both technology and dashboard reporting/development. As a key player in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization, you will manage complex data and reporting analysis for budget, forecasting, and business unit performance.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Perform detailed reporting and analysis for the FP&A team, providing crucial insights into business unit performance through complex data manipulation.
• Focus on OBIEE dashboard activities, striving to expand the capabilities of this tool.
• Assist end users with reporting solutions and provide necessary training to help them evolve.
• Manage reporting deliverables using tools like SQL, OBIEE, Essbase, and Planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve information issues during nightly production schedules.
• Help plan the data warehouse roadmap, coordinating data source providers, ETL developers, and schema changes.
• Act as a liaison between the Finance and IT departments, assisting with requirement documentation, testing, and production releases.
• Coordinate off-shore matrix technology resources.
• Participate in a major data warehouse and system integration effort related to our enterprise billing program.

Qualifications and Experience

What Experience You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with SQL, OBIEE, Essbase, or Planning, either from an administrative or power user perspective.
• Ability to gather and manage business requirements effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Organized, self-motivated, and a strong problem solver.

Technical Skills

Technical Skills Required:

• SQL (Oracle DB 11g)
• Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE v11)
• Essbase (v11)
• SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
