An AI Software Engineer (Intern) at ConnectiveRx is an entry-level role focused on designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions. This position offers the opportunity to develop creative and technical skills while collaborating with a dedicated agile team to tackle a variety of AI and full-stack development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers on assigned projects.
• Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design sessions, project estimation, iterative development, and unit testing.
• Contribute to system designs, write code, and participate in code reviews.
• Develop new AI modules for both internal systems and market-facing software products.
• Enhance the CRx platform by suggesting and implementing AI-based improvements to existing frameworks, tools, and processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities for designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and processing.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and similar techniques.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks such as Langchain, Llama Index, or Haystack.
• Acquaintance with Object-Oriented (OO) programming, databases, and multi-tier application development.
• Expertise in Python programming and experience with Machine Learning libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom chatbots or similar NLP/LLM applications.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS/AI components such as Bedrock, Q, CodeWhisper, and SageMaker.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), web application development, or frontend frameworks such as React.
• Knowledge of relational databases, document databases, and SQL.
• Interest or experience in healthcare technology aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
