Our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd is excited to announce an immediate opening for an 8-month internship as an Assistant Researcher in the field of mmWave Imaging.

Responsibilities:

- Spearhead research efforts aimed at applying machine learning techniques to enhance sensing and imaging algorithms, with a focus on the integration of compressive sensing methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative approaches that leverage machine learning for improved performance and efficiency in sensing and imaging applications.
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and compressive sensing, identifying opportunities for integration into ongoing research projects.

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled Ph.D. students with a strong academic background and a proven track record of publications in any of the following areas or related fields:

• Imaging inverse problems
• Deep learning for imaging problems
• Large-scale optimization
• Radar/THz imaging
• Joint communications and sensing
• Multi-antenna and communication systems

- Demonstrated experience with experimentally measured data is an asset, showcasing the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios effectively.
