Job Description: OUR EXCITING OPPORTUNITY Internships serve as a key avenue for students to gain valuable work experience, establish important career contacts, and understand the CoreLogic culture. Our interns will engage in the daily work environment, making a real impact by working on actual technology projects and business challenges. Our Data Sourcing Internship offers an exceptional opportunity to operate at the forefront of data acquisition and analysis. As a Data Sourcing Intern, you will play a crucial role in our team, aiding us in researching, collating, and reviewing data from diverse sources. You will delve into the world of the data supply chain by managing vendor relationships, researching new data assets, summarizing findings, financially scrutinizing vendor price quotes, and assisting in reporting results to executives. Your contributions will play a direct role in our data strategy and shaping our company's continued success! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Researching data sets from diverse sources, such as websites, databases and APIs, and assessing their applicability for the organization's needs. • Communicating research findings, progress, and challenges to the team. • Assisting in developing data sourcing strategies to efficiently locate and acquire relevant data. • Generating calculations using PowerPoint and Excel with CoreLogic data. • Receiving general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members. • Following department processes, procedures and client requirements; possibly recommending and/or implementing improvements/solutions. • Participating in Internship Program activities and events such as onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demonstrations and social events. • Providing general administrative support as needed. • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as necessary. Job Qualifications: Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university. • Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed. • Minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent. • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred. • Participation in campus activities related to the field preferred. • Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience. Assignment Specific Experience • Attention to detail and a zest for learning and growing in a dynamic environment. • Ability to function within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure. • Robust analytical capabilities with a faculty for judgment-based decision-making. • Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a bustling, dynamic environment. • A commercial sense and basic familiarity with business finance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
