Department Overview

The Software Enterprise Deployment and Mobile Video Integration organization provide software solutions to the public safety market (911, Police, Fire, EMS). The teams integrate features and functionalities to deliver products and solutions that make our customers the best they can be in moments that matter.

Job Description

This internship with our 911 Software Deployment & Mobile Video Integration Central Services & Business Operations organizations seeks to provide data-driven insight and analysis to optimize operations, reduce costs, and augment efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Analysis: accumulate, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

• Performance Metrics: monitor and report essential deployment metrics such as cycle time and resource utilization.

• Cost Analysis: assist in evaluating costs across various deployment areas to identify potential savings opportunities.

• Market Research: examine market trends, landscapes, and best practices to provide viable insights.

• Report Enhancement: manage and improve a selection of reports, advanced analytics, and visualizations to reach more audiences or tell a more compelling narrative.

• Collaboration: cooperate with cross-functional teams including sales, presales, support, order management, finance, and procurement to solve problems and devise solutions.

• Report Generation: create reports using Tableau to communicate findings to leadership and business operations.

Qualifications:

• Progressing towards a Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Business Analytics or Business Administration.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Tableau is preferred.

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, or Business Administration with a graduation date on or after December 2024.
• Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S. is required. No employer work permit sponsorship is available for this position.
