Job Description

Our Analytics and Platform Solutions team is pivotal in helping our clients across various industries manage and capitalize on data throughout their entire value chains. We forge data-driven solutions geared towards strategic business management and develop sophisticated products that incorporate machine learning, along with constructing comprehensive data infrastructure frameworks.

We invite you to join our dynamic team in locations such as Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, or Berlin. We are currently offering positions as an intern (full-time for 3-4 months) or as a working student (16-20 hours per week for at least 6 months).

Your Role and Responsibilities:

You will engage in various internal tasks with an emphasis on data architecture, data engineering, and other data-centric topics. You will also support project teams in creating tools throughout the ETL or ELT processes and actively contribute to the advancement of our database technologies and cloud computing infrastructure.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be pursuing or have completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Business Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics, and have some practical experience in data engineering. A passion for developing comprehensive data management frameworks, including aspects like data governance and metadata management, is crucial.

Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server, Cassandra, Redis), ETL processes, and programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala, Java) is desirable. Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop Ecosystem, Apache Spark), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and some experience with SAP will be considered an advantage. Applicants should possess excellent English and good German language skills.
