Description of the Assignment

Vanderlande has a unified process for developing its data products on a new data platform using the Data Mesh method and key tools such as Databricks, Azure, Azure DevOps, SnowFlake, and Power BI. Multiple distributed Data & Analytics teams worldwide implement this process, but there is a need for efficient and effective data governance to identify adherence, improvements, and possible bottlenecks within each team and at an aggregated level.

As an intern, you will help design, develop and implement a proof of concept for an automated observability process solution, including a dashboard for the unified process mentioned above. You will decide the best methodology (e.g., process mining) and technology to make this proof of concept a success, and if time permits, operationalize the solution within the organization.

Tasks/Responsibilities

· Design, develop and implement a proof of concept of an observability process solution, including a dashboard, that can be centrally managed and distributed.

· Analyze and drive process excellence improvements.

· Act as the primary contact for this assignment.

· You are analytical and can simplify complex problems into straightforward solutions.

· You have excellent communication skills to manage various stakeholders and teams.

· You are eager to solve real-world technical challenges.

· You love gaining hands-on experience on groundbreaking projects.

· You are proactive and stay updated on the latest developments in tooling and collaboration techniques like Agile development.

· You take ownership, are a team player with good communication.

Required Skills

· You have a DevOps mindset.

· It would be beneficial if you also have experience or interest in;

• AI techniques, for example, Python and process mining
• Cloud solutions, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Data visualization / front-end development.
