Job Description

Are you a diligent student pursuing a technical degree in data science, computer vision, or robotics? Are you passionate about groundbreaking technology and innovation? Join us at Lely's R&D department for an opportunity to work on advanced robotic projects during your internship. Your responsibilities may include developing state-of-the-art algorithms, designing classical machine learning or deep learning models, and testing them in actual farming environments.

Practical information

• This is a collaborative internship. (Possibility of a graduation project following the internship.)
• We are seeking either a Master's (MSc) student or a student in their final year of a University of Applied Sciences program (HBO) specializing in animal behavior.
• It's a full-time, 40 hours per week internship.
• The internship begins at the end of January 2024 for a duration of 4 to 9 months.
• You must be fluent in either English or Dutch.

Qualifications

As an intern at our R&D department, you'll get exposure to a wide range of projects, including the development of a fully autonomous robotic system, due to our rapid innovation. We are seeking proactive individuals who are eager to learn and willing to expand their skills.

Job requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's (MSc) degree or in the final year of a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) program in data science, machine learning, computer science, or a related field (robotics).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Demonstrated creativity and stress management skills.
• A genuine interest and enthusiasm for computer vision.
