Job Description

Your future work environment:

After a welcoming training on Big Data solutions used, you are integrated into a team of technical-functional consultants. For one of our major clients in the energy sector, you are accompanied by an experienced project manager and a tutor who follows your progress.

Your role and your missions :

Your main missions are as follows:

• You collect needs,
• You improve skills on data,
• You implement data modeling,
• You develop changes on existing applications,
• You manage incidents, problems and correctives.

The technologies in place are:

• Data flow management: NIFI
• Storage base: ElasticSearch, Hadoop HDFS, RDF
• Development language: Java, Scala
• Main Framework: Spring, RDF4J, Spark, Sparql
• Architecture and infra: Docker, Ansible
• Additional tools: Kafka

Example of a project:

To ensure the remote control of the electricity network, we have set up for our client a surveillance and possible control thanks to TERA of data generated with sensors, PLCs and signals.

The project aims to store these data and make them available to all SI applications.

Qualifications

Your profile:

Student in Engineering school, in Master of computer science or equivalent, you are looking for your host company for an internship.

You have knowledge of Big Data, Java and especially a culture on databases and SQL languages. Beyond your experience and training, your personality and potential will make a difference: strong analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of commitment, rigor and technical appetites for new technologies.
