Job Description We aim to shape the future of banking with AI: Large Language Models for AI assistants in finance and banking sectors. The integration of financial services with technology has ushered in an enormous amount of both structured and unstructured data. Harnessing the potential of this data to improve user experiences is crucially facilitated by advanced Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. The Data Science team at Swissquote is offering an internship opportunity focusing on the applications of Large Language Models (LLM) in developing cutting-edge AI assistants. The main goal is to explore, design, and refine NLP applications using LLMs to craft intuitive and efficient AI assistants for the banking and finance sectors. Our Data Science team is an integral part of Swissquote's core research group, the Quantitative Research & Solutions (QRS) department, specializing in theoretical and applied research in quantitative finance and data science. QRS's mission is to provide premier quantitative and AI solutions through research to assist all divisions of the bank that require an analytical approach. By Joining Our Team as a Data Scientist Intern You Will: Identify and preprocess relevant financial textual datasets. Exploit various LLM configurations for chatbot and AI assistant development. Fine-tune and test LLMs for AI assistant tasks on custom datasets. Qualifications A strong background in data science and NLP Previous exposure to or genuine interest in LLMs Coding proficiency in Python Interest in the banking and financial sectors Creative and curious, always ready to challenge the status quo Organized, self-motivated with excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with different stakeholders English fluency Additional Information SQ3 We are A Bank That Doesn't Look Like One.
