The Position: IT Intern - Data Management & Governance

We are looking for a passionate student to join us as an IT Intern within the Data Management & Governance team. This role involves collaborating with our Informatics organization on IT products that require data analysis and automation capabilities. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals aiming to pursue a career in IT product development, providing hands-on experience in a global professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Ops Support: Assist in supporting Drug Safety’s Adverse Event reporting submission.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Data Analysis Support: Conduct data analysis to identify data issues and gaps, supporting business decisions. Proficiency in SQL queries is required.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on data management best practices and emerging trends to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Automation Enablement: Research and develop automation capabilities for manual processes. This includes creating AI content videos with available tools within the organization.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management and governance processes.
• Support Learning & Development: Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and other educational events.

Ideal Candidate

• Undergraduate student from a reputable university in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Passionate and energetic about information technology functions, particularly in Informatics.
• Quick learner capable of applying skills in daily work or projects.
• Good communication skills with high proficiency in English.
• Able to network with colleagues from various business, IT functions, and management to share best practices.
• Additional experience in automation, coding, or extra IT certifications is a plus.
