Position: IT Advisor, Technology Consulting - Data & Analytics (Manager)
Location: Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
As an IT Advisor in Technology Consulting - Data & Analytics, you will:
- Support client engagement teams to address complex business problems using data acquisition, validation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with client management to identify business needs and develop diagnostic, solution, and enterprise analytics.
- Review and document findings, preparing recommendations for the client.
- Plan engagements and develop work programs, timelines, and other planning documents.
- Utilize analytics to deliver business insights, improve performance, and mitigate risks.
- Integrate analytics and business intelligence to provide client-specific solutions.
- Manage and motivate diverse teams, ensuring quality client services and strong project management.
- Participate in recruitment and business development activities.
Working Hours:
Full-time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Minimum Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of progressive related work experience;
- OR a Master’s degree with at least 4 years of related work experience.
- 4 years of experience with two or more analytics tools: ACL, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft SQL Server, SPSS, SAS, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, Trillium, Data Stage.
- 2 years of experience using analytics to address business problems, monitor risks, and apply analytic technologies.
- 2 years of experience with ETL processes.
- 2 years of analytics engagement leadership, including staff management and project monitoring.
- 2 years of hands-on technical expertise and client relationship management.
- Travel required up to 80% of the time, with 10% potentially international.
