Job Description

We are seeking an IT Analyst with proven expertise in the Epic Cogito Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process workflow. This position is crucial for ensuring adherence to security requirements through patching and maintaining environmental stability by proactive monitoring. Additionally, the IT Analyst stays updated with the latest trends and developments in data integration and system resiliency.

Work Performed

The duties and responsibilities of the IT Analyst will vary based on the work area. The following criteria may be used to determine the level at which a candidate is hired:

LEVEL 1:

  • Works as an individual contributor under direct supervision.
  • Demonstrates knowledge within specific disciplines.
  • Completes tasks and portions of larger projects, identifying internal resources to build project team capabilities.
  • May function in a cross-team environment.

LEVEL 2:

  • Works as an individual contributor under limited supervision.
  • Applies subject matter knowledge; understands specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge effectively.
  • Performs and coordinates simple to complex projects with minimal direction.
  • Acts as a technical resource for discipline in cross-functional teams.
  • Effectively communicates specific IT issues/solutions to clients.

Skills

LEVEL 1:

  • Keeps current on industry trends and applies learnings to assignments.
  • Works independently on complex tasks and portions of larger projects.
  • Identifies and uses appropriate resources to accomplish tasks and builds individual/team knowledge.
  • Accomplishes project objectives by keeping team focused on the solution and informed of project status.
  • Promotes initiative goals, setting aside departmental or functional biases to achieve objectives.
  • Delivers systems or programs on time and within budget, maintaining self-motivation and quality even under challenge.

LEVEL 2:

  • Applies industry and market intelligence to new technologies and best practices.
  • Communicates technical issues/solutions clearly to various audiences.
  • Develops short- and long-term solutions addressing customer needs.
  • Takes proactive actions to achieve business goals without prompts.
  • Promotes initiative goals and overcomes departmental biases to achieve objectives.
  • Delivers projects on time and within budget, motivating self and others to reach long-term goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of equivalent technical experience required.

Licensure/Certification

Epic Credential requirements will vary depending on the work area.
