Your Role as a Data Architect

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing Data Architecture: Develop comprehensive blueprints and frameworks for data management across the organization. Choose appropriate architectures, technologies, and methodologies that offer scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Data Modeling and Design: Construct detailed data models to define how data is organized, utilized, integrated, and maintained across various systems and entities. Ensure proper data relationships and flow.
  • Integration and Data Migration: Manage the seamless integration of emerging technologies and systems into the existing data architecture, including the transition of data from old platforms to new solutions.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate closely with IT teams and stakeholders to align the data architecture with business objectives and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Governance Alignment: Ensure adherence to data quality standards and compliance with data security norms as part of broader data governance goals.

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT or data-centric roles, potentially as a database developer, data engineer, data analyst, software engineer, or a previous data architect.
  • Data Modeling & Design: Proficiency in using data modeling tools, understanding data normalization, and designing entity-relationship and data flow diagrams.
  • Data Technologies: Experience with diverse data platform solutions including data storage, integration tools and frameworks, and data governance technologies (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud services (especially AWS) utilized for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Data Security & Governance: Knowledge of data security practices, privacy laws (like GDPR), and implementation of data governance frameworks.
