Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer Mid/Sr, you will:

• Design and architect solutions for Machine Learning model training and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain existing models.
• Utilize AWS infrastructure to provision and deploy models and data pipelines.
• Develop systems using Python and R to support ML models and mathematical models.
• Extract and optimize data using SQL to improve performance in existing queries.
• Define and enforce code standards that enhance maintainability and performance.
• Review and refactor code from other Data Scientists.
• Migrate existing codebases to new standards to ensure maintainability and performance.
• Engage in Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality code and meet project milestones.
• Effectively communicate technical ideas and solutions with clients and internal teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong expertise in Python and R development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in Git and DevOps practices.
• Experience with MLOps platforms (such as AWS SageMaker).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Advanced English language skills (above B2).

Nice to Have

• Experience with RDS Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Previous exposure to Agile methodologies.
