As a Junior AI/ML Engineer, your role will be pivotal in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our AI and ML capabilities. About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and enhancing orchestration logic for operationalizing AI/ML models.
• Building and maintaining microservices in Python, integrating ML models and algorithms.
• Enhancing feature extraction pipelines for ML training and evaluation.
• Optimizing and troubleshooting existing AI models to boost performance.
• Creating scripts for configuration management and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

This role reports directly to the team in our Heredia office, requiring your presence once a week, with flexible scheduling available to accommodate traffic concerns and optimize work-life balance.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in deploying production-level Python or equivalent academic or certification achievements.
• Solid coding skills in Python and familiarity with its best practices and frameworks.
• Practical experience with Python data and ML libraries (e.g., pandas, Keras, TensorFlow).
• Knowledge of web-service and web development frameworks like FastAPI and Flask.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Additionally, you should be self-motivated, flexible, and capable of quickly adapting to new projects and domains. Strong professional communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with both clients and colleagues.
