Key Responsibilities

As a Junior ASIC Performance and Power Architect, you will:

  • Create use case workload and data flow models for day of use power evaluation.
  • Drive power and performance optimizations through various SoC generations.
  • Perform post-silicon profiling to correlate power and performance models.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team on power-performance trade-off analysis for engineering reviews and product roadmap decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with the Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of power or performance KPI in digital design and their causes/effects.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who also have:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with performance for memory systems or multimedia IPs in mobile SoCs (such as ISP, codecs, and display processors).
  • Experience in software power optimizations, post-silicon power productization work, and software performance profiling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python) and database analysis (e.g., SQL).
  • Understanding of the impact of software and architectural design decisions on system power and thermal behavior.
