A Day in the Life

At Hawk-Eye, our computer vision engineers are critical to our agile team’s success, implementing cutting-edge object tracking technology in sports like tennis, football, and cricket. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve delving into complex challenges such as multi-view geometry and image processing. You will also contribute to the enhancement of our artificial intelligence platform using Visual Studio C++, maximising the capabilities of GPU processing with CUDA and experimenting with OpenCV.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing detailed analysis and optimizations for both CPU and GPU systems.
• Supporting the development and improvement of vision processing algorithms.
• Participating in the full lifecycle of project development alongside creative and product engineering teams.
• Implementing new features in our state-of-the-art products.
• Regularly reporting progress and any issues to ensure alignment with team goals.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

As a budding computer vision engineer, you will develop expertise in:

• Advanced computer vision algorithms and techniques.
• Enhancing your proficiency in C++ and technical skills.
• Optimization performance for both CPU and GPU.
• Networking, concurrency, and operating systems.
• Machine learning fundamentals and related libraries.

A solid understanding of Git, Visual Studio, and CUDA will be beneficial.
