We're looking for an ambitious Junior Computer Vision Engineer to join Schwarz IT, a key IT service provider for the Schwarz Gruppe, including brands like LIDL, Kaufland, PreZero, and Schwarz Produktion. This role is a phenomenal opportunity to develop cutting-edge computer vision solutions and transform them from prototype to fully operational products.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a member of our dedicated Computer Vision department, led by department head Darius, you will:

• Independently develop innovative, rollout-ready computer vision solutions in Python.
• Write efficient, performance-optimized code in both Python and C++.
• Develop and utilize technologies in containerization and IoT to deliver our solutions efficiently.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary, agile project teams.
• Present your results to stakeholders, demonstrating your ability to tackle complex problems.

Desired Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience in developing and applying algorithms in machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing (e.g., SLAM, Tracking, Classification, Detection, Segmentation, Generation).
• Practical skills in object-oriented programming with Python and C/C++, and familiarity with container applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar platforms).
• A strong willingness to quickly learn new skills and apply them effectively in developing robust and creative solutions.
• The ability to comprehend complex issues, analyze them in detail, and convey insights to a non-technical audience.
