Junior Data Engineer

ROLE You will become a member of our Data Engineering team, applying your skills in data analysis, statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualization to help customers make informed decisions, address complicated issues, and derive actionable insights from their data. Responsibilities: - Design data architecture - Develop, customize, and handle integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems - Sustain and test data pipeline to ensure the system's reliability in partnership with the testing team - Implement machine learning algorithms into production, configuring data attributes, managing computing resources, setting up monitoring tools, etc. - Manage data and metadata - Setup and provide data-access tools to view data, generate reports, and create visuals. - Monitor the overall performance and stability of the system and secure alignment with data/models/requirements alterations. Requirements - You have a relevant degree in computer science, data engineering, information technology, or a related field - You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a data engineering role - Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform - Demonstrated experience in working with SQL, Python, along with data integration and ETL tools like Informatica and SnapLogic - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies is crucial, particularly in regards to AWS Redshift - Diplomatic and pragmatic, you know how to maintain a customer relationship - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices - Creative, curious, and autonomous, you are ambitious and eager to contribute to the growth of a startup - You are fluent in English.
