About The Role: Junior Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Join our dynamic data engineering team, where you will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and quality.
• Implement data ingestion processes using GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Support data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Contribute to data governance and security practices.
• Document technical processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Expertise in GCP, especially data-related services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages, preferably Python.
• Expertise in database design and data modeling.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Terraform, CI/CD.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Kafka, Azure Servicebus, Airflow, and DBT.
• Cloud certification in GCP is a plus.
