Our mission is to offer a versatile multi-currency account that empowers our users to manage, transfer, and receive funds effortlessly across borders. We are now looking for a Junior Data Engineer to enhance our capabilities and help us towards realizing our vision.

About the Role

As an integral part of our expanding Data Team, you will collaborate closely with our lead data engineer to refine and expand our internal data frameworks. Your efforts will support our operational analytics and contribute to the standardization of data ingestion and processing, vital for key business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and standardize data pipelines and analytics tools for management and decision-making across multiple departments.
• Work alongside the lead data engineer to build, test, and maintain scalable data architecture and pipelines.
• Transition data loading processes to modern, efficient tools that epitomize strong data culture and robust framework.
• Execute data transformation tasks using dbt and manage workflows with Dagster.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including the translation of stakeholder requirements from excel logic to code and data pipelines.
• A Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python, focusing on data manipulation, data modeling, and API integrations.
• A good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and familiarity with current data tools.
• Experience with or a strong interest in learning the modern data stack, including tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Dagster.
