Job Description

As a Junior Data Engineer at NIQ, your role will focus on developing and supporting back-end data warehousing and ETL processes while also engaging in the creation of front-end dashboards and data visualizations. Your work will enable quicker, more effective business decisions through robust, data-driven solutions.

• Create and manage data pipelines, integrating data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Develop SQL queries for data aggregation and modeling.
• Implement and maintain automated systems to improve quality and reduce manual processes.
• Document all projects and maintain systemic records.
• Identify issues proactively and collaborate with teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to meet and exceed client expectations.

About You

You are a proactive problem solver with a sharp eye for efficiency and a knack for technology. With at least one year of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Engineering, you are ready to take on complex projects and deliver innovative solutions. Your proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and eagerness to engage with emerging technologies will help you succeed in this role. Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, and cloud services like Google Cloud or AWS is advantageous.
