We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team.
The perfect candidate will have strong knowledge of Data Manipulation Tools,
s, Big Data ecosystem and programming in one or more of Scala, Python or JavaScript, R, Java.

Roles and responsibilities

This position involves deploying various analytical solutions to production.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement and maintain large-scale data processing systems (ETLs).
- Algorithm Development: Work together with Business stakeholders to translate requirements into algorithms tailored for transactions monitoring in AML domain.
- Deployment: Incorporate algorithms and models into production systems using best practices in DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Models Optimization: Use Hadoop and Spark to monitor and optimize processes and solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other teams to integrate systems, share insights, and improve the overall functionality of our transaction monitoring systems.
- Continuous Learning: Keep up with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our systems remain efficient and competitive.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Scala, Java or Python, with an understanding of the functional programming paradigm.
Practical experience with Hadoop and Spark frameworks.
Knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools.
Familiarity with the development and deployment of machine learning models is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
