Job Description

As a Junior Data Scientist at Flink, you will be instrumental in exploring innovative ways to enhance our services through advanced Machine Learning (ML) models. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing predictive models to make insightful business decisions daily.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to seamlessly integrate advanced data science into our quick grocery and workforce management apps.
• Collaborating within a cross-functional team to create reliable data science products that cater to the needs of both the business and Flink’s customer base.
• Conducting analyses on AB tests and other experiments to assess the effectiveness of our data science endeavors.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with various data science and statistical methods, using Python as a primary tool.
• Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Google BigQuery is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English, which is our primary language of operation.

Additional qualifications that would set you apart:

• Experience in developing recommender systems or forecasting models.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Airflow, and cloud infrastructures like GCP.
• Knowledge of ML platforms such as MLflow or VertexAI.
