Join ICF as a Junior Full Stack Developer in Data Science & AI

ICF is expanding and we are looking for a passionate Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team. If you’re eager to dive into Data Science and AI technologies, this role is for you. As a vital member of ICF’s Health Data Insights Team, you’ll have the opportunity to support CDC research in data science.

Collaborate with solution architects and data scientists to develop dynamic user interfaces, applications, and data storage solutions. Provide crucial support for Artificial Intelligence functionalities to drive innovation. We seek a curious and self-directed learner ready to tackle complex challenges.

Work Flexibility: Remote / Hybrid

This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or in a hybrid setting from one of our office locations, if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, fulfilling user stories and delivering within sprints
• Design and create scalable software solutions
• Present and justify design choices to team and stakeholders
• Write clean, functional code for both front-end and back-end
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Utilize testing frameworks like Jest and Selenium
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code organization and quality
• Document features based on project specifications
• Provide application support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of full stack development experience
• Proficiency in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and .NET Framework
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Knowledge of Docker container configuration and deployment
• Proficiency with Git/version control and command-line / Linux
• Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of basic Machine Learning algorithms
• Knowledge of Neural Networks
• Experience with Python
• Experience building GenAI-powered processes
• Experience with data engineering/processing in Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with Spark/Databricks

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $69,862.00 - $118,765.00. Multiple factors determine final pay, including relevant experience, skills, certifications, competencies, geographic location, education, and contract provisions.
