Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous Language Data Annotator to enhance our AI and natural language processing products. Your expertise in data annotation and analysis will support our research in language detection and sentiment analysis across various languages on public social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately annotate text data according to detailed guidelines to identify linguistic features and categories.
  • Collaborate with the research team to resolve data ambiguities and improve the annotation process.
  • Conduct qualitative error analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance data quality.
  • Create language datasets for model training and evaluation.
  • Support additional ad-hoc data-related tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in English and Tagalog.
  • Fluency in other languages is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Proficiency with productivity software and text editors in a computerized environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in language data annotation, manipulation, and analysis, with familiarity with annotation tools preferred.

Desirable: Previous customer service/contact center work experience.
