Role Description:
As a Lead Data Engineer at Apexon, you will be responsible for:
- Experience in streaming application and real-time analytics (must)
- Hands-on experience in Data Bricks (must)
- Prior experience in P&C Claims
- Working with Majesco & Duck Creek
- Hands-on experience in Java and Python (must)
- Experience with databases: Netezza, Oracle, Snowflake
- Proficiency in writing SQLs, advanced SQL for analytics
- Experience with ELK is good to have
- Experience with Dockers and OpenShift is good to have
- Experience in data quality, data profiling, and information governance is good to have
Qualifications & Experience:
You will need:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
- 5+ years of experience with KAFKA streaming application
- Claims experience in Personal & Commercial Lines insurance sector along with hands-on experience in Data Bricks
- 5+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience using Java and Python
- Experience with design and implementation of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plus
- Experience in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment and familiarity with Jenkins, Artifactory, and Code Quality Tools like SonarQube
- Proficiency in writing optimal multithreaded applications
- 5+ years of complex SQL / PL SQL development experience
- Experience working in Agile framework
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
