Role Overview

As an integral part of our agile team, you will enhance, build, and implement top-notch data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions. Your role as a core technical contributor involves maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across various business functions and technical areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver cutting-edge data platform solutions focusing on security, stability, and scalability.
  • Design creative solutions and troubleshoot complex issues beyond conventional approaches.
  • Perform database diagnostics, optimize data structures, and proactively identify data patterns that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to our engineering communities, promoting innovative technologies and practices.
  • Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
  • Lead technical evaluations with external and internal partners to enhance system architecture and integration.
  • Collaborate with various teams to streamline operations and improve system stability.
  • Analyze and enhance data access control processes.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Generate advanced data models using comprehensive statistical and algorithmic approaches.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of relational database concepts, with over 5 years of experience, preferably including certifications.
  • Proven expertise in maintaining and scaling Cassandra NoSQL databases.
  • Experience across the data lifecycle with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Advanced knowledge in database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
  • Proficiency in linear algebra, statistics, and geometric algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in database implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with the banking and payments industry.
