Role Description:

As a Lead Data Engineer at Apexon, you will be responsible for:

• Experience in streaming application and real-time analytics (must)
• Hands-on experience in Data Bricks (must)
• Prior experience in P&C Claims
• Working with Majesco & Duck Creek
• Hands-on experience in Java and Python (must)
• Experience with databases: Netezza, Oracle, Snowflake
• Proficiency in writing SQLs, advanced SQL for analytics
• Experience with ELK is good to have
• Experience with Dockers and OpenShift is good to have
• Experience in data quality, data profiling, and information governance is good to have

Qualifications & Experience:

You will need:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
• 5+ years of experience with KAFKA streaming application
• Claims experience in Personal & Commercial Lines insurance sector along with hands-on experience in Data Bricks
• 5+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience using Java and Python
• Experience with design and implementation of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plus
• Experience in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment and familiarity with Jenkins, Artifactory, and Code Quality Tools like SonarQube
• Proficiency in writing optimal multithreaded applications
• 5+ years of complex SQL / PL SQL development experience
• Experience working in Agile framework
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
